Heretic Riff is a rhythm action game. In the game, players take on the role of a punk girl, battling against oppressive bosses in the midst of intense and rhythmic music. The core gameplay revolves around the musical beats and melodies. While playing Heretic Riff, players need to act in accordance with the rhythm of the music and dodge the boss's skills, which are also released in sync with the rhythm.

Controls:

W, A, S, D	Move
↑, ←, ↓, →	Flip

As the game is currently being prepared for Now Play This 2025 - London, some of the ui components in the current version use joystick icons. 

In fact, you can use the keyboard to experience the entire game.

Tile-flipping rules:

You can only flip grids when you are trapped in a cage by the boss.

Flipping a grid will cause the boss's skill on it to disappear.

Additional tips:

- The higher your ComboCount, the stronger you become.

- Beware of the blue-purple traps.

- Doing something wrong is better than doing nothing  .

- Have fun playing!
